About The Position

AMERI-CANS is looking to hire a full-time Administrative Clerk for our location in Haskell, TX. This is a key role leading the day-to-day execution of a rapidly growing portable sanitation company that takes pride in doing things the right way and executing the impossible. Owned by Marine Corps veterans, we have a dynamic team of technicians, operations, and maintenance staff that hold the highest standard of performance, integrity, and customer service without compare. The Administrative Clerk provides general administrative and clerical support to Operations, Maintenance, Dispatch, Fleet, and Inventory functions. This role focuses on documentation, data entry, record keeping, inventory tracking, and basic coordination tasks that support daily operations. While the Administrative Clerk does not manage operations, inventory strategy, dispatch decisions, or maintenance activities, this role provides critical support to those functions by ensuring information is accurate, organized, and processed in a timely manner, while maintaining visibility into inventory accuracy and reporting.

Requirements

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office and administrative systems
  • Ability to track numerical data accurately and consistently
  • Reliable time management and follow-through

  • Ability to perform routine, process-driven tasks with consistency

Nice To Haves

  • Previous administrative or clerical experience preferred
  • Experience supporting operations, fleet, inventory, or field-based teams is a plus
  • Familiarity with inventory tracking systems or basic materials management processes preferred

Responsibilities

  • Process, file, and maintain operational, regulatory, and internal documentation
  • Perform data entry and maintain accurate digital and physical records
  • Organize reports, forms, logs, and internal tracking systems
  • Support scheduling, meeting coordination, and basic calendar management
  • Answer and route phone calls, emails, and internal requests as directed
  • Maintain organized filing systems and shared digital folders
  • Assist Operations and Maintenance teams with documentation and record updates
  • Maintain accurate inventory counts through routine tracking, data entry, and reconciliation of physical counts
  • Monitor inventory levels and report stock quantities to supervision on a regular basis
  • Track material and equipment usage to ensure proper documentation and accountability
  • Identify and communicate low-stock thresholds and reorder needs to designated supervisors
  • Support purchase order tracking and invoice documentation related to inventory and operational supplies
  • Assist with asset, vehicle, and equipment record updates assigned
  • Support compliance documentation under supervisor direction
  • Order and maintain office and operational supplies as directed
  • Prepare materials for meetings, job sites, or operational needs
  • Provide general administrative assistance to leadership and field teams
  • Maintain a professional, organized, and responsive office environment
