Administrative Assistant Coordinate meetings, travel, expense processing and other related tasks Coordinate and order lunch for all meetings as needed, including Kaizen events, Lean Leadership training, customer visits/tours, and any plant-wide employee activities Compile daily Production and Foundry reports Order all office supplies and various Maintenance Dept. items Coordinate all requests and payments for donations Register and process employees’ training and certifications Greet visitors/customers/tour groups and assist the Materials Dept. in hosting them Maintain all Conference room schedules and keep them stocked for use Manage and schedule (3) Company pool vehicles Handle customer relations activities and community interaction as needed Fulfill information requests and other inquiries from field personnel and customers Manage work in a confidential manner, ensuring information is shared with internal and external individuals in an appropriate manner; provide guidance to peers as necessary regarding proprietary information. Update and maintain all Process Control plans as needed Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • A minimum of two years administrative assistant type duties preferred
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills – including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Must have strong interpersonal skills to interact with internal and external customers
  • Ability to prioritize many different tasks at once
  • Ability to adapt to changes and requests from multiple requestors
  • Attention to Detail
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Self-driven and able to function with little supervision
  • Strong communicator, both orally and written
  • Excellent customer service skills, both internal and external
  • Willingness and ability to interact with all levels in the plant, with portion of time spent on shop floor
  • Must always be professional and confidential
  • Independent thinker and adaptable

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Concur is highly desired

Responsibilities
