About The Position

We are currently seeking an outstanding, professional, and highly adaptable Administrative Assistant. The Administrative Assistant supports several executives by proactively managing and streamlining administrative responsibilities. This role requires sound judgment, initiative, and advanced technical capability. The work will take place primarily at a computer, organizing information, updating reports, creating presentations, and keeping leaders highly organized and prepared. The Administrative Assistant must be highly proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and Teams, and able to quickly learn and adapt to new software systems and internal platforms. The Administrative Assistant will often work independently, using their technical skills, resourcefulness, and professional experience to complete tasks and manage deliverables for the team. The highest level of discretion and professionalism are required. The Administrative Assistant is responsible for managing regular, recurring administrative tasks that ensure the smooth day-to-day operation and organization of the executive team. This includes maintaining workflows, tracking routine deliverables, and keeping ongoing business activities on schedule and in order. The Administrative Assistant must have the flexibility to work extended hours and to travel periodically, which may include weekends and evenings.

Requirements

  • Professional communication skills, interpersonal skills, and professional image for projecting a positive professional image to Board and Committee members, Credit Union members, vendors, business associates and employees.
  • Written and verbal communications skills to write and communicate on behalf of the supported Executive Officers.
  • Must be able to prioritize a heavy workload and juggle multiple priorities.
  • Must have extreme attention to detail, organization skills, and initiative.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and human relation skills.
  • Ability to handle complex assignments and deal with all levels of management, employees, Board members, visitors, members and vendors.
  • Must be able to exercise independent judgment and discretion and maintain strict confidentiality in performing daily functions.
  • The Administrative Assistant must have the flexibility to work extended hours and to travel periodically, which may include weekends and evenings.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's degree in English, Business, or a related field preferred and/ or a combination of education and experience which provides the necessary skills and knowledge to perform at a professional level.
