We are seeking a highly organized and professional Administrative Assistant to provide direct support to company leadership and key departments. The successful candidate is detail-oriented, discreet, adaptable, and comfortable balancing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This position plays a vital role in keeping leadership operations running smoothly while upholding Spyderco’s values of honesty, transparency, and professionalism. On-Site Position Monday through Friday 7:30AM - 4:30 PM Compensation: $25.00-$35.00/hr.

Requirements

  • Highschool Diploma or equivalent
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Business, or other related areas
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and discretion
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with high-level professionalism
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams
  • Comfort handling confidential and sensitive information
  • Proficiency with office technology and document management systems

Responsibilities

  • Uphold Spyderco’s core values, particularly honesty, integrity, and transparency
  • Maintain and update shared Smartsheets and internal tracking tools across departments
  • Build, organize, and maintain confidential records and files
  • Serve as a professional liaison with internal teams, collaborators, vendors, and inventors
  • Manage calendars, meetings, appointments, and occasional travel logistics for leadership
  • Track new and ongoing projects to ensure deadlines and deliverables are supported
  • Draft, transcribe, and format correspondence from emails, phone calls, and recordings
  • Attend meetings, take accurate notes, and prepare meeting minutes as needed
  • Procure information, documentation, and materials for leadership
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date records for design and development projects
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail, including weekly off-site mail pickup and shipments
  • Assist with phone coverage during receptionist breaks or absences
  • Provide occasional support to the Spyderco Factory Outlet retail store when needed
