About The Position

Under the direction of the HR Generalist, the Administrative Assistant performs a variety of clerical and administrative functions to support daily operations. Responsibilities include drafting correspondence, scheduling appointments, organizing and maintaining files, preparing reports, and providing customer and employee support. This role requires strong attention to detail, effective communication, and proficiency in office and warehouse systems. Schedule: Monday - Friday 8AM-5PM Pay: $20-$22/hr.

Requirements

  • Minimum of one year of related administrative or clerical experience.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Strong customer service orientation and professional demeanor.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and respond constructively to feedback.
  • Capable of managing multiple priorities and maintaining confidentiality.
  • High school diploma or GED required; postsecondary coursework preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a warehouse, logistics, or distribution environment preferred.
  • Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Answer and direct phone calls, take messages, and provide information to callers as needed.
  • Greet visitors and handle inquiries or direct them to the appropriate person or department.
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings and appointments.
  • Prepare and distribute meeting notes, reports, correspondence, and other communications.
  • Maintain organized paper and electronic filing systems for records, correspondence, and documentation.
  • Process and route incoming and outgoing mail, emails, and other communications.
  • Order, track, and dispense office and warehouse supplies.
  • Operate standard office equipment including computers, fax machines, copiers, scanners, and phone systems.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office Suite, Warehouse Management System (WMS), and other software for spreadsheets, word processing, and database management.
  • Complete daily and quarterly production or performance reports as required.
  • Review documents for accuracy, correct grammar, and adherence to company formatting standards.
  • Assist with order entry, account information, and customer service inquiries.
  • Support team projects and departmental initiatives as assigned.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned to support departmental and company objectives.
