About The Position

Provides administrative and clerical support to ensure efficient daily office operations. Responsibilities include preparing and processing correspondence and documents, supporting special projects, managing faxing and routine office tasks, and completing errands as required. Serves as the primary administrative support to the Executive Director, Department Director, or Vice President and provides backup coverage for the Receptionist and Office Manager to maintain continuity of administrative services.

Requirements

  • GED or High School Diploma required; one-year certificate from a college or technical school preferred; or a minimum of two (2) years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as policies and procedures, procedural manuals, and operating instructions.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Professional oral and written communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with staff and the community.
  • Ability to interpret and carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Proficient in a variety of computer applications, including word processing and spreadsheets, such as Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to operate standard office equipment, including typewriter, computer, copier, and facsimile machine.
  • Valid driver’s license with access to an automobile in good working order, insured in accordance with state and organizational requirements.
  • Willingness to comply with all Bluegrass Care Navigators (BCN) employee health, infectious disease, and vaccination policies.
  • Must be a licensed driver with an automobile in good working order, that is insured in accordance with state minimum requirements.
