About The Position

The Assistant will work closely with the Medical Director on day-to-day operational functions. Handle all correspondence with patients including scheduling, answering the phones, filing paperwork, and preparing documents for meetings. Using computers to generate reports, transcribe minutes from meetings, create presentations, and conduct research. Maintain polite and professional communication via phone, e-mail, greeting and assisting patients. The Administrative Assistant is responsible for overseeing administrative scheduling, assist enrolling new clients and office activities. Monitoring the on-call one schedule. Applicant must be detailed oriented, highly organized, and results driven. Ability to deal effectively with a diversity of individuals at all organizational levels. Requirements

  • requires a minimum of one (1) year experience.
  • A High School Diploma or GED.
  • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
  • Excellent phone etiquette.
  • Basic computer skills such as Word, Outlook, and Excel.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain departmental day-to-day in-house activities, monitor and prioritize office workflow and assistant with in-house call outs on Generations.
  • Assist with turning new and existent referrals into Agency clients to help all qualified clients/ members in need of home health services and meet Agency census goals
  • Identify and establish new referral sources in the Health Care /Client Services and maintain positive relationships with existent ones
  • Assist with reviewing, correcting, confirming, and submitting telephony/EVV data
  • Enters staff and client information into the Generations.
  • Performs general office duties including but not limited to word processing, photocopies, files, shreds, sort/distributes mail, provides reception and telephone services.
