About The Position

Our office, Randolph Center for Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, P.A., in Randolph, NJ, is seeking a Dental Administrative Assistant to join our busy specialty practice. We are seeking a talented and dedicated Dental Administrative Assistant to play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the dental practice. As a vital part of our team, you will assist the Practice Manager in managing administrative tasks, coordinating patient care, and ensuring smooth office operations. Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in a dental office setting, with administrative or management support roles preferred.
  • Proficiency in dental practice management software and patient management systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on patient-centered care.
  • Knowledge of dental insurance verification, billing, and financial processes.
  • Strong leadership abilities, including training and mentoring administrative staff.
  • A solid understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality protocols.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting the Practice Manager in overseeing daily office operations and maintaining a smooth workflow.
  • Coordinating patient scheduling, appointment confirmations, and follow-up communications.
  • Managing patient billing, insurance verifications, and claims processing, ensuring financial arrangements and collections are handled timely.
  • Addressing and resolving escalated patient concerns to ensure a positive patient experience.
  • Supporting the training and onboarding of administrative staff, and providing leadership in the Practice Manager’s absence.
  • Monitoring office performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
  • Maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations, including HIPAA, and ensuring adherence to office protocols.
  • Collaborating with clinical staff to ensure patient records are accurate and well-maintained.
  • Managing office supplies and vendor relationships as needed.
