About The Position

Administrative support role for currently enrolled students. This is an off campus Federal Work Study Position. Job Location: Choices Leadership Academy 18106 Marsh Lane, Dallas, TX 75287

Requirements

Must be an enrolled student.
High School diploma or equivalent.
Must be a current student in good standing and possess a GPA of 2.0 or higher.
Must be enrolled in a minimum of six credits per semester.
FWS fund eligible.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Self-directed, motivated individuals.
People who sit around, waiting to be told what to do will not do well in this environment.

Responsibilities

Perform a variety of clerical duties such as typing correspondence, reports, and other documents.
Establish and maintain manual and computerized files, records, and logs.
Answer questions and provides information.
Serve as the general receptionist answering phones and taking messages and compile data.
Answer phone calls and direct calls to appropriate parties or take messages.
Compile data.
File and retrieve corporate documents, records, and reports.
Greet visitors and determine whether they should be given access to individuals.
Make travel arrangements for executives.
Open, sort, and distribute incoming correspondence, including faxes and email.
Perform general office duties, such as ordering supplies, maintaining records management database systems, and performing essential bookkeeping work.
Prepare invoices, reports, memos, letters, financial statements and other documents, using word processing, spreadsheet, database, or presentation software.
Read and analyze incoming memos, submissions, and reports to determine their significance and plan their distribution.
