About The Position

Administrative Assistant (Temp-to-Hire) Location: Batavia, IL 60510 Shift: M-F 7am-4pm Pay: $22.00-$25.00/ hour DOE Duties: Perform general administrative tasks such as answering phone calls, responding to emails, and managing correspondence. Maintain office supplies and equipment, ensuring everything is well-stocked and in working order. Assist with data entry and record keeping, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. Manage calendars, schedule appointments, and coordinate meetings. Provide excellent customer service to clients and visitors, addressing inquiries and resolving issues. Perform other duties as assigned to support the smooth operation of the office.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an office administrator or in a similar administrative role.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and record keeping.
  • Experience with office software such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to operate phone systems and handle calls professionally.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in all work performed.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must pass background check and drug screening.
