Requirements

  • Proven experience as an administrative assistant, preferably in a healthcare setting
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
  • Positive attitude and a team-oriented mindset
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task easily
  • Advanced to expert level knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, and Teams
  • Strong organizational skills

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of medical terminology, billing, and insurance processes is a plus
  • Prior experience in healthcare preferred
  • Medical terminology, coding, and billing experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and medical documentation
  • Coordinate communication between patients, physicians, and other healthcare staff
  • Assist with billing, coding, and insurance claim processing
  • Prepare and organize correspondence and administrative documents
  • Support practice management with various administrative tasks to ensure smooth daily operations
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and confidentiality standards
