This role is for an Administrative Assistant who will fulfill administrative responsibilities and provide support to the Production Manager, contributing to a collaborative and growing company.

Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Review worksheets, coordinate, and adjust activities according to production needs
  • Perform random samples one time per month for USPA SAMPLES REGULATIONS
  • Check and verify that pallet quantity and weight are correct
  • Enter data into the work order system for product entry and exit, raw material transfers, and back orders
  • Help manage and coordinate special projects
  • Assist in the processing room with making boxes, packing finished product, weighing on the scale, and labeling with correct descriptions
  • Close work orders and adjust them in the system
  • Assist with documents and plans using Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Assist with production needs, such as labels and gloves
  • Supervise and provide occupational health and safety information
  • Distribute health and safety information to employees regarding occupational hazards in their area of work
  • Ensure personnel are properly trained in safety practices and follow them through production hours
  • Provide induction and refresher courses to ensure assigned personnel can address occupational health and safety responsibilities, including workplace hazards, safe operating procedures, and the use and maintenance of safety equipment and emergency response procedures
  • Oversee aspects of work in relation to occupational health and safety performed by staff
  • Facilitate OHS consultation processes between the management team and staff
