About The Position

At Ameriprise Financial, the Administrative Assistant role is instrumental in ensuring the smooth operation of a fast-paced financial planning office. This position is with an independent advisor franchisee of Ameriprise Financial. The role involves assisting financial advisors in daily business operations, managing and organizing office workflow, and focusing on creating a unique client experience. The Administrative Assistant provides client relationship support by interacting directly with clients for accurate account setup and acting as a liaison for client questions. The role also includes performing other practice management tasks related to client service, responding to ad hoc requests, coordinating/tracking projects, and managing business-as-usual projects like organizing client seminars. Requirements

  • 3 years client service experience preferably within the financial services industry

Responsibilities

  • Create initial client profile, open accounts, process transfers
  • Answer questions and provide readily available information to clients, if requested and as allowable, as it relates to servicing their accounts; interact with home office as needed
  • Perform other allowable duties as assigned by the financial advisors
  • Call clients or prospect to set up meetings or appointments
  • Conduct transaction requests as requested by financial advisors
  • Build and maintain close client relationships through phone calls, emails, birthday cards and holiday cards
