About The Position

St. Frances Cabrini Academy is seeking a dedicated and mission‑driven Administrative Assistant to support the daily operations of our vibrant Catholic school. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, welcoming, and committed to serving students, families, and staff in a faith‑centered environment. The Administrative Assistant serves as the primary point of contact in the school office, ensuring smooth communication, efficient workflow, and a warm, professional presence for all who enter the building. This position supports administrative processes, manages records, assists with scheduling, and provides essential operational support to the principal and faculty. Requirements

  • High school diploma required; associate degree or administrative training preferred.
  • Prior experience in an office or school setting strongly valued.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency with computers, office software, and basic data entry.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist students, families, visitors, and staff with professionalism and hospitality.
  • Manage incoming calls, emails, and office communication.
  • Maintain student records, attendance, and required documentation.
  • Support scheduling, calendar coordination, and school communications.
  • Assist with preparing reports, letters, and school publications.
  • Coordinate office supplies, materials, and general office organization.
  • Support faculty and administration with clerical tasks and project needs.
  • Uphold confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Assist with health room needs, student dismissals, and daily routines.
  • Contribute to a positive, mission‑aligned school culture rooted in Catholic values.
