About The Position

Xumo, a joint venture between Comcast and Charter Communications, was formed to develop and offer a next-generation streaming platform for the entire entertainment industry. The company consists of three primary lines of business: Xumo devices, Xumo Play, and Xumo Enterprise. Powered by Comcast’s global entertainment platform, Xumo devices feature a world-class user interface with universal voice search capabilities, making it easy for consumers to find and enjoy their favorite streaming content. Xumo Play is a free ad-supported streaming TV (FAST) service offering hundreds of linear channels and on-demand options. Xumo Enterprise provides tools and services for content creators, distributors, and advertisers to make FAST content more accessible. Job Summary Responsible for providing administrative support to senior management and staff. Coordinates multiple projects; orchestrates meetings, team events, arranges detailed travel itineraries, researches agenda items & compiles meeting info. Maintains necessary office supplies and ensures various equipment is properly configured, installed and maintained. Works with moderate supervision/guidance. Is accountable for individual results and impact on team.

Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Provides administrative and clerical support including correspondence, typing, filing, research and various projects.
  • Assisting with office facilities, badge process & vendor coordination.
  • Supporting the organization of meetings, including scheduling, preparing agenda items, and compiling relevant research and reports
  • Practices good judgment, discretion and confidentiality of sensitive information regarding department activities.
  • Creates intricate spreadsheets, Word documents and/or PowerPoint presentations.
  • Assisting with the creation and maintenance of electronic filing systems to improve document retrieval and data management
  • Handling the procurement and inventory management of office supplies to ensure availability and cost-effectiveness
  • Coordinating the maintenance and repair of office equipment to prevent disruptions in administrative operations
  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
