Our Spokane location specializes in full-service metal roofing & siding production, and support for residential and commercial construction. Taylor Metal Products values its employees and strives to provide an upbeat, positive work environment. We are looking for a Reception/Admin Assistant to work with various departments by directing inbound phone calls, processing customer paperwork, placing outbound calls for order pick-ups, plus additional duties as necessary. Workload varies by season; July - October being the busy season.

Requirements

  • Competency in the use of Excel, Word, and other software applications

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Be technologically savvy
  • Must have a high school diploma or GED
  • Typing skills and 10-key proficiency
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to compile, sort, and verify accuracy of data
  • Good time management skills -- ability to maintain levels of productivity including backing-up other positions in the company
  • Attention to detail and excellent problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to quickly and accurately input customer orders into a cloud-based system
  • Multi-line phone skills

Nice To Haves

  • Previous admin or assistant experience preferred
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and cloud-based computing.
  • CRM software experience desired

Responsibilities

  • Taking and directing a high volume of inbound phone calls utilizing a multi-line internet-based phone system (Primary Focus)
  • Achieving and maintaining all defined call service-related targets and goals
  • Placing outbound calls to customers once their orders are ready for pick up
  • Documenting customer action/details in CRM software
  • Process customer paperwork when they come into pick up orders
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail/parcel shipments
  • Organizing and filing paperwork
  • Provide additional support to customer service and data entry teams as needed
  • Actively participate in continuous improvement projects and activities
  • Additional office duties as needed
  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other Federal, State and local standards
  • Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance
  • Sit or stand for long periods of time
  • Able to lift packages up to 40 pounds
