In this role, you will schedule appointments, field phone calls, and provide general administrative support to department personnel. Requirements

  • Associate's degree (AA/AS) and 2 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office or similar software.
  • Ability to type 35+ words per minute by touch.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of IFAS financial software.

Responsibilities

  • Manages the Director’s calendar and schedules appointments, including detailed travel-related itineraries.
  • Responds to calls and written correspondence.
  • Prepares memos outlining and explaining administrative procedures and policies to supervisory workers, and monitors policy compliance.
  • Directs preparation of meeting records, including agendas, notices, minutes, and resolutions.
  • Prepares confidential correspondence, reports, and other complex documents.
  • Creates and maintains databases and spreadsheet files.
  • Organizes and maintains file system, and files correspondence and other records.
  • May take minutes, transcribe notes, or perform other typing tasks.
  • May facilitate programs, events, or conferences by arranging for facilities and caterer, issuing information or invitations, coordinating speakers, and controlling event budget.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
