About The Position

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented IT Procurement and Administrative Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the end-to-end process of purchasing computer hardware and software, ensuring that all purchases are made in accordance with company policies and budget guidelines.

Requirements

  • 1+ year experience in IT procurement or administrative role.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with creating purchase orders and processing transactions in financial systems such as Concur.
  • Strong administrative skills, including scheduling, planning, and organization.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills for preparing approval requests and business cases.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with IT terminology and products.

Responsibilities

  • Create and manage purchase orders for computer hardware and software, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards.
  • Draft and submit approval requests and business cases for IT procurement, clearly articulating the need and benefits of the proposed purchases.
  • Process credit card transactions in the Concur system, ensuring timely approvals and accurate record- keeping.
  • Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, organizing files, and maintaining records.
  • Research and shop for competitive prices on computer hardware/software, staying up-to-date with the latest technology trends.
  • Assist with other administrative functions as requested by the IT department or marketing department.
