IT Procurement Specialist

Salary: $30.29 per hour Under the direction of the Chief Information Officer, the IT Procurement Specialist oversees all technology related procurement and asset management for the City. This includes procurement processes, shipping and receiving, license management, asset tracking, software subscriptions, maintenance and support renewals, and disposal of assets. This includes the maintenance of systems containing information regarding asset data, licenses, warranties, and service agreements for the organization's hardware and software. In addition to these functions, the IT Procurement Specialist also performs a diverse range of administrative tasks to support the Information Technology department's operations.
Requirements
- Associates Degree in IT, Business or Public Administration, Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain Management or a related field; and two (2) years’ office/clerical support experience, or any combination of experience or training which provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the work required
- Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat, MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Candidates must possess valid work authorization in the United States that does not require employer sponsorship.
Nice To Haves
- Two years’ experience in IT software/hardware procurement and/or asset management preferred
