Requirements

  • Three years of experience in a similar administrative role
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a positive, collaborative, flexible attitude
  • Proven ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a complex office setting
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to organize and complete detailed tasks
  • High reliability and professional communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Ability to type at least 50 WPM
  • Ability to write clear instructions, reports, and business correspondence
  • Confidence presenting information one‑on‑one or in group settings
  • Comprehensive knowledge of office support functions

Responsibilities

  • Make complex travel and event arrangements, including approvals, airfare, lodging, rentals, and conference registrations
  • Respond to inquiries related to purchasing policies, travel, and event processes
  • Perform specialized recordkeeping and data collection for internal and external reporting
  • Complete accurate and timely data entry to support Business Office functions
  • Compose, edit, and prepare technical and administrative correspondence and reports
  • Provide accurate information by phone, in person, and via email
  • Interact professionally with executives, campus organizations, external agencies, and the public
  • Adapt or modify office processes to support new procedures and improve efficiency
  • Monitor expenditures related to assigned responsibilities
  • Coordinate office functions, special projects, and workflow management
  • Recruit, train, and lead student employees
  • Train others on office procedures, processes, equipment, and software
  • Provide comprehensive office support, including word processing, filing and document management, drafting business documents, and handling data gathering and compilation.
  • Deliver excellent reception and customer service while managing communication, inquiries, and support needs across multiple stakeholders.
  • Manage and prioritize workloads across multiple projects with strong technical proficiency in database systems, presentation tools, and the Microsoft Office Suite
