Requirements
- Associate’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience in event planning and community engagement.
- Ability to work 19.5 hours per week.
- All candidates must reside within, or be willing to relocate to, a reasonable commuting distance from CWI.
- Employment visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
Responsibilities
- Execute Strategic Outreach & Engagement Initiatives
- Assist in planning and delivering outreach events, workshops, and presentations.
- Represent the Learning Commons at campus-wide events and engagement activities.
- Support initiatives that increase student awareness and utilization of services.
- Enhance Visibility Through Marketing & Promotion
- Contribute to the development of promotional materials and outreach campaigns.
- Identify creative strategies to increase engagement with Learning Commons services.
- Help ensure consistent messaging across Library, Tutoring, and Writing & AI Literacy services.
- Assess & Strengthen Outreach Effectiveness
- Gather and track outreach data to evaluate engagement efforts.
- Provide feedback and insights to improve future programming.
- Support continuous improvement of outreach strategies based on student needs.
- Foster Cross-Department Collaboration
- Partner with staff across the Library, Tutoring Services, and Writing & AI Literacy Center to align goals.
- Maintain strong communication with internal stakeholders to support shared objectives.
- Contribute to a positive, student-centered team environment.
