About This Role: Under general supervision, the Administrative Assistant I performs various administrative functions for assigned department. Demonstrates behavior consistent with the company’s values of Customer Satisfaction, Innovation, Family, and Social Responsibility. Essential Job Functions/Tasks: Types routine correspondence, reports, various forms, tables, etc. from rough draft, handwritten notes, or general verbal instructions and makes changes in grammar, punctuation or spelling as needed. Receives and screens visitors and telephone calls, and notifies appropriate personnel or records messages. Responds to general inquiries concerning area activities in accordance with established policies and procedures. Establishes and maintains record keeping and filing systems; classifies, sorts and files correspondence, records and other documents. Opens, sorts, prioritizes, and distributes mail. Maintains manager’s/supervisor’s calendar and schedule appointments. Handles relationships with office-related vendors. Purchases office supplies and makes sure all useful items are always in stock. Books travel accommodations for Customer Service Team Completes Customer Service Team expense reports using Concur. Supports the team with questions about Concur. Supports Customer Service Team with E1 tasks towards completing request for credit inquiries. Completes monthly reporting of department metrics and uploads them to power point to be shared with the Customer Service Team. Assists HPP program with answering telephone calls and completing the invoicing process via the HPP platform software.
