About The Position

Under general supervision, supports a particular function by performing a wide range of administrative support activities.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience.
  • Knowledge of procedures, practices, routines to support department or group
  • Gain knowledge and use of relevant PC software applications and skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Requires good knowledge of math principles, English, and spelling.
  • Ability to work effectively in an environment that includes constant interruptions.
  • Ability to seek and implement solutions to problems in a team environment and the ability to work with a variety of personalities, including people of different cultures.
  • Basic working knowledge of company policies and procedures.
  • Effectively gives and receives feedback.
  • Receives general instructions on routine work, detailed instructions on new assignments.

Responsibilities

  • Performs administrative duties that are particular to the position or department that are routine in nature.
  • Composes correspondence, establishes formats, and edits work for content.
  • Performs file searches as requested, or in conjunction with other assigned duties, and maintains appropriate controls over materials within our electronic systems.
  • Maintains records and logs independently that are used in conjunction with other assigned duties or that assist others in the preparation of records and reports.
  • Serves typically as the primary contact for the department or area.
  • Identifies process improvements and assists in planning and implementing new procedures and programs.
  • Coordinate travel, workshops and meetings, and reviews meeting expenses for payment.
  • Performs orders, maintains office supplies, and arranges for equipment maintenance.
  • Duties may include documenting standard operating procedures, preparing reports, compiling data for analysis, preparing spreadsheets, databases or presentations
  • Coordinating activities, investigating and resolving problems.
  • May perform general reception duties by receiving incoming calls and visitors to the department or area.
  • May develop or participate in preparation and completion of special projects.
