About The Position

At Hormel Foods, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. The base hiring pay range for this role is between $18.75-$26.25 per hour, and your actual base pay within that range will depend upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skill set, level of experience, and geographic market location. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Some flex-time is available.

Requirements

  • Software proficiency in the Windows environment including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Calendar.
  • Ability to learn other computer applications (Oracle-HR systems).

Nice To Haves

  • Experience using ADP systems such as E-time payroll and Oracle-HR.
  • Ability to speak and translate Spanish/Karen/Karenni/ or Burmese.

Responsibilities

  • Assists with the hiring and onboarding functions for production employees including but not limited to: applicant tracking, scheduling interviews, creating and maintaining personnel files, and tracking new employee evaluations.
  • Maintains plant personnel records in Oracle, Empyrean and ADP Enterprise, including but not limited to: tracking and entering scheduled wage increases and other employment transactions including job changes and terminations.
  • Provides assistance to employees regarding benefits, payroll, leave policies, bidding protocols and other HR policies and procedures in Oracle
  • Provides back-up and vacation relief for other HR administrative positions.
  • Performs other duties as requested by management.
