About The Position

To assure the smooth and efficient operation of the Support Services.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma.
  • Knowledge and experience with computers.
  • Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card.
  • Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) and related certifications required to drive a school bus.
  • Maintain certified trainer status.
  • Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Governing Board may find appropriate and acceptable.

Responsibilities

  • Drives morning and afternoon bus runs; may require some Fridays and other extracurricular runs.
  • Schedules driving assignments and makes adjustments as necessary.
  • Schedules all transportation needs including white fleet requests.
  • Provides training to new drivers and may include summer bi-annual refresher training.
  • Maintains driver files as required by the state.
  • Assists with physical inventory including fixed asset and stewardship listing (mainly summer).
  • Receives and routes all incoming calls and correspondence for Support Services.
  • Processes purchasing and receiving documentation in accordance with district procedures.
  • Assists with the preparation of departmental reports, correspondence, and informational materials including vehicle inventory, 100 day mileage, year end mileage, and food service.
  • Other job-related duties as assigned.
