What you will do: Under the supervision of the Director of Finance Physician Enterprise, the Finance Administrative Assistant performs clerical, bookkeeping, secretarial and administrative duties for finance/operations depts of the Medical Group/Physician Enterprise.

Requirements

  • HS diploma required.
  • AAS in Bookkeeping/Accounting or similar major OR 3years of related experience preferred
  • Working knowledge of principles of payroll accounting and the general accounting process.
  • Ability to create effective working relationships with employees and other departments
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
  • Excellent computer skills including knowledge of Excel, QuickBooks, Word, Outlook and File Explorer

Responsibilities

  • Maintain Professional Expense/CME accounts for the medical group in QuickBooks based on applicable policies
  • Input/maintain Additional Compensation spreadsheet with items submitted for payroll from various sources
  • Compile Manager Fee-For-Service (FFS) compensation for providers
  • Conduct monthly post-pay mileage audits
  • Assist with setup audits verification and reconciliations
