About The Position

The Administrative Assistant provides comprehensive administrative and clerical support to the Executive Assistant and multiple departments, helping ensure smooth efficient daily operations. The role processes routine correspondence, organizes, maintains, and retrieves documents and files; supports purchasing and report preparation, and assists with coordinating meetings and departmental activities. The Administrative Assistant also serves as a contact for general inquiries from Tribal community, Tribal governmental departments, and the public.

Requirements

  • Intermediate Word, Excel, and data entry skills (skill level determined by testing)
  • Grammar, punctuation and typing skills (skill level determined by testing)
  • Basic knowledge of Mohegan history, culture, and crafts
  • Ability to take direction, work collaboratively, set priorities and organize work
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • One (1) year experience in an office environment
  • Must be a member of The Mohegan Tribe
  • Must be able to maintain a flexible work schedule, including evening shifts and weekends
