About The Position

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Administrative Assistant/ Bookkeeper to join their Westchester, NY office. This role combines essential bookkeeping responsibilities with administrative support for multiple professionals. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage confidential information with discretion.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in bookkeeping and administrative support preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to review and proofread reports effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, and comfort working in a paperless environment.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and follow established processes.

Responsibilities

  • Perform various light bookkeeping tasks.
  • Assist team with client onboarding process and engagement letter preparation.
  • Handle filing, scanning, and faxing in a paperless environment.
  • Manage check deposits and maintain document management systems.
  • Provide high-level administrative support to multiple professionals, including scheduling and call screening.
  • Other ad hoc administrative duties
  • Communicate professionally via phone, email, and in person.
  • Follow standardized tasks and established procedures with accuracy and consistency.
  • Exercise discretion when handling confidential information related to the company, executive management, and employees.
