Southeastern Louisiana University’s Department of Educational Leadership and Foundations invites qualified applicants to apply for the position of Administrative Assistant 3. The Department offers rigorous educational programs designed to prepare candidates for advanced study in Educational Leadership, including master’s and doctoral degree programs. These programs equip graduates with the knowledge and skills necessary to meet the demands of the profession, resulting in strong recruitment by regional school districts. This position provides comprehensive administrative support to the Department Head and faculty and serves as a primary liaison among faculty, students, departmental leadership, university administration, and external stakeholders. The selected candidate will perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Department Head. Position responsibilities may evolve in response to technological advancements, workforce utilization, and other institutional needs that require modification of role expectations. This position is based within an academic teaching, research, and service department in the College of Education at Southeastern Louisiana University.
