This is a full-time Administrative Aide position, in the Waterfront Engineering organization. This position reports to the Waterfront Quality Compliance Manager and the Waterfront Non-Nuclear Structural Design and Engineering Manager and is responsible for all administrative duties of the Quality Compliance department and the Non-Nuclear Structural Design and Engineering department. In addition, this position may be required to provide support for any overload administrative demands for the Waterfront Directorate departments. The work location for this position is at our Groton Engineering facility. Job assignments for the position include but are not limited to the following: Typing, distributing, and filing correspondence, such as letters to customers, internal memorandum, transmittals, and technical reports. Maintaining electronic and hard copy department files, including personnel files. Ordering and maintaining office supplies. Distribution of department mail. Scheduling meetings. Preparing IT Service Requests, EB Notes License Requests and Communication Work Orders. Maintaining the EB phone and personnel listings. Arranging business travel, preparing expense reports, and preparing visit requests. Maintaining department organization charts. Updating department databases, such as commitments, letter file numbers, calculations, and open items. Coordination of department training. Assisting in the development of non-technical business related presentations.
