About The Position

The Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences, CBH division, is seeking an Administrative Assistant I to provide administrative assistance for a project dedicated to improving behavioral health services and systems across NM. Duties include: assist with project logistics, procurement, meeting and travel planning, supplies and materials preparation. This position will regularly work with multidisciplinary teams; manage complex scheduling and will develop positive relationships with internal and external agencies and stakeholders. This position will work closely with clinical and non-clinical partners and will assist with implementation and meeting facilitation. The qualified candidate should have in-depth knowledge of and experience with: basic administrative duties; RedCap, Zoom, Adobe Creative Programs and Smartsheet; strong familiarity with public health, public policy and behavioral health issues, and human services-related programs; culturally competent and able to work within diverse communities; establishing and maintaining positive community relationships; scheduling meetings and events and administrative functions. The desired candidate for this high-energy position is professional and customer service-oriented; efficient; and able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. This is an on-call position and is not eligible for benefits. This position will work in-office several days a week and may require limited travel within New Mexico. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED; at least 1 year of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
  • basic administrative duties

Nice To Haves

  • Academic or work experience with public health, public policy or in a behavioral health field
  • Demonstrated administrative experience
  • Experience with data collection and database management
  • Demonstrated customer service experience and experience providing hands-on technical support
  • Experience with RedCap, Access, Excel, Zoom and Smartsheet- knowledgeable, quick and adept in learning software and systems
