About The Position

The Training Facilitator supports participants enrolled in training programs by providing instructional guidance, skills practice, and group facilitation. This role assists learners with course assignments, leads group activities, delivers lecture-based content, and provides one-on-one interview practice and coaching. The Training Facilitator works collaboratively with program staff to create a supportive, engaging learning environment that promotes skill development and participant success. Please be advised that this position is supported by external sponsor funding. As such, continued employment in this role is contingent upon the availability of those external funds. If, for any reason, the sponsor funding is reduced or discontinued, employment may be subject to modification or termination in accordance with applicable policies and procedures. Responsibilities

  • Provide guidance and clarification on course content, expectations, and deadlines
  • Assist participants with completing written assignments, projects, and learning activities
  • Review participant work and offer constructive feedback to support skill development
  • Help participants apply training concepts to real-world or workplace scenarios
  • Offer individualized support to address learning barriers or accommodation needs
  • Conduct mock interviews tailored to participant goals and employment interests
  • Coach participants on interview skills, including communication, body language, and professional presentation
  • Provide feedback on responses, resumes, and interview preparation strategies
  • Support participants in building confidence and self-advocacy skills
  • Adjust coaching approaches to meet diverse learning and communication styles
  • Facilitate group discussions, workshops, and interactive training activities
  • Encourage participant engagement, collaboration, and peer learning
  • Manage group dynamics to ensure an inclusive, respectful learning environment
  • Reinforce training objectives through guided activities and reflection
  • Adapt facilitation strategies to meet the needs of diverse learners
  • Deliver structured lectures and presentations aligned with the training curriculum
  • Prepare and use instructional materials such as slides, handouts, or multimedia tools
  • Present information in a clear, engaging, and accessible manner
  • Check for participant understanding and adjust delivery as needed
  • Support learning outcomes by connecting lecture content to practical application
