The IT Training Facilitator is responsible for direct, in-person delivery of technology training and support to Firm attorneys and staff. This position is highly execution‑focused, providing day‑to‑day onboarding, live instruction, and visible floor support to help users apply Firm technology tools effectively in their daily work. This role serves as the Firm’s primary on-the-ground training presence, concentrating on real-time coaching, new hire transition support, and immediate skill reinforcement. The IT Training Facilitator works under the direction of the Technology Training Manager and in close coordination with other IT Training team members to support firmwide initiatives and ongoing hiring cycles. This position also provides a level of backup support to the Information Technology Department.

Requirements

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to explain technology concepts clearly, patiently, and confidently.
  • Comfort working in a high-visibility, highly interactive role.
  • Ability to maintain strict adherence to confidentiality of matters or items of heightened sensitivity.
  • Proficient with the use of all MS Office products and possess a keen sense of rising technologies. Must have the ability to grasp and deliver additional trained technology applications.
  • Must be able to work independently, organizing and prioritizing numerous projects and programs with minimal supervision. Must exhibit strong attention to detail and accuracy while working in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment. Must apply these skills in a team.
  • Must possess a strong work ethic as a reliable team player, able to adhere to an employer-set work schedule. While this position has set work hours, some schedule flexibility may be required of the employee in order to adequately administer projects or issues that arise within the scope of duties.
  • Minimum of an Associate's degree in a relevant area or equivalent work experience is required.
  • 3+ years’ experience delivering live training, instruction, education or hands-on user support in a professional or educational environment.

  • Experience in a law firm or professional services environment preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver live, instructor-led technology onboarding and training – both in-person and virtual – for new attorneys and staff, including system access orientation, core workflows, and daily-use tools, in response to immediate business needs, system changes, or user requests.
  • Adapt training delivery in real time to meet participant skill levels and workplace demands.
  • Provide consistent, on-the-floor technology coaching within the Harrisburg office and during scheduled visits to regional offices.
  • Identify repeat questions or common challenges and escalate trends to the Technology Training Manager for potential broader training solutions.
  • Expand and improve training programs and delivery methods through creative approaches, peer and user collaboration, user feedback, and continuous learning related to business operations and industry trends.
  • Coordinate with other IT Training team members to ensure consistent messaging and alignment.
  • Schedule training sessions and maintain participation records as required.
  • Assist with logistics related to training delivery and onboarding support.
  • Provide backup support for other IT Training Team initiatives as needed.
