About The Position

Teach a one-credit section of Poli 349: Topics in Politics. This section of the course will focus on Increasing Civic Engagement as Disciples of Christ, bringing together high-profile speakers (politicians, journalists, thought leaders) to discuss how to address divisive issues in a contentious world.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in political science or related fields. The required degree must be completed by the start date.
Practical experience in the politics of international relations, such as diplomacy or intelligence.
This position requires the successful candidate to relocate and/or reside in Utah for the duration of their employment.
All new employees who are members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will be required to hold and be worthy to hold a current temple recommend.
All employees are required to abide by the university's Honor Code and Dress & Grooming Standards.
