About The Position

This position consists of teaching one undergraduate day application of Econ 381, Intermediate Macroeconomics, in Fall Semester on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:30-4:45 PM from an approved curriculum, lecturing, grading, holding office hours, attending faculty meetings, and supervising undergraduate teaching assistants. Successful candidates will demonstrate potential for high-quality teaching and be committed to giving the university's students a sound academic experience. Note: Failure to attach the required documents may result in your application not being considered. This position requires the successful candidate to relocate and/or reside in Utah for the duration of their employment.

Requirements

  • Master's degree required; PhD preferred. The required degree must be completed by the start date.
  • At least 2 years of work experience in the field of economics.
  • Relocate and/or reside in Utah for the duration of their employment.
  • All new employees who are members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will be required to hold and be worthy to hold a current temple recommend.
  • All employees are required to abide by the university's Honor Code and Dress & Grooming Standards.
