About The Position

The School of Social Work at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill invites applications for a temporary Adjunct Professor to support the Office of Student and Academic Affairs. This adjunct faculty position is fixed-term and part-time at .20 FTE , and will report to the Associate Dean of MSW Education. This role is intended to enhance student engagement, support MSW Education, and assist in the planning and execution of student initiatives. The Adjunct Professor will provide targeted leadership, planning, and coordination to strengthen academic success, student support, and program quality. The position will focus on high-priority projects that support the academic mission of the School and complement the ongoing operational work of the Office of Student and Academic Affairs.

Nice To Haves

• Significant professional experience related to social work education, student affairs, advising, and academic program administration.
• Experience with UNC Chapel Hill School of Social Work and its software and systems (SSWiS, ConnectCarolina, Canvas).
• Experience with teaching and supporting MSW students is strongly preferred.
