We are seeking qualified instructors to teach Criminal Justice courses at both: Local high schools in the Columbia area (Dual Enrollment), and The Fort Jackson campus On-site instruction is essential to support student learning, engagement, hands-on interaction, and successful course delivery. Instructors must be available to teach in person during the following timeframes: Fort Jackson campus: 8:00 a.m. - 12:35 p.m., Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday Local high schools: 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m., Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday Responsibilities include: Delivering high-quality Criminal Justice instruction through lectures, discussions, and other teaching methods Preparing instructional materials, assessments, and course content Maintaining accurate student records and adhering to course schedules Using learning management systems to communicate with students, faculty, and staff Providing course syllabi and ensuring grade assignments align with course objectives and competencies Submitting grades, reports, and required documentation in a timely manner Participating in the collection and reporting of student learning outcomes Assisting the Criminal Justice Program Director with timely communication when needed Remaining current in the Criminal Justice field and related industry trends This role requires strong communication skills, professionalism, and a commitment to academic excellence in an on-site learning environment.
