About The Position
Adjunct teaching courses within Workforce Education programs. Rate of pay dependent upon education/experience.
Requirements
- Associate degree and/or 2-5 years work experience in the field of study; Bachelor's degree and/or 6-10 years work experience in the field of study and/or credentialed in the field of study; Master's degree and/or 11-15 years work experience in the field of study and/or credentialed in the field of study; Doctorate degree and/or 16+ years work experience in the field of study and/or credentialed in the field of study.
- A minimum of five years working experience in the Electrical field-service, installation, and repair and hold a Journeyman or Master Electrician License.
Nice To Haves
- Completed a course in teaching adults or have experience in teaching/training adults from different backgrounds, ethnicity, gender, ages, and religions or supervising electrical technicians.
Responsibilities
- Teach courses in the assigned discipline.
- Maintain familiarity with and adhere to college policies and procedures.
- Maintain good rapport with students.
- Flexibility in schedule to teach day/evening/weekend classes.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
