About The Position

Are you passionate about shaping future health care leaders and helping students discover their purpose? The College of Nursing and Health Care Professions at GCU is seeking knowledgeable, mission-driven Adjunct Faculty to teach Health Care Accounting and Billing on our main campus. Before You Apply Please ensure the following align with your availability and qualifications: Fall Semester runs September 8, 2026 – December 20, 2026 In-person instruction on GCU’s Main Campus Class meets on Wednesdays and Fridays, 7:00 a.m. – 8:45 a.m. Arizona residents only Must successfully pass a drug screen

Requirements

• A Master’s Degree in: Health Care Administration (MHCA) OR Health Administration (MHA) OR Public Administration (MPA) OR Business Administration (MBA) OR Nursing (MSN)
• 5+ years of professional experience in health care management, accounting and billing, or administration within hospital, acute care, managed care, ambulatory, physician group, or long-term care settings
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build supportive relationships with students
• Proficiency in English, grammar, and APA writing
• Commitment to modeling GCU’s mission and values
• Arizona residents only
• Must successfully pass a drug screen

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, high-quality instruction using innovative teaching methods and current industry technologies
• Maintain compliance with accreditation standards
• Model the holistic tenets of the nursing profession and uphold the University’s mission and pillars
• Facilitate meaningful classroom discussions, assess student learning, and prepare students for leadership roles in health care
• Support program initiatives and demonstrate alignment with the philosophy and direction of the University
• Provide a positive example by supporting GCU’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement, and Mission
