Saint Louis University, a Catholic, Jesuit institution dedicated to student learning, research, and service, seeks dynamic applicants who can engage and inspire a diverse student body as an adjunct instructor in the Music program of the Department of Visual and Performing Arts. This one-semester position ranges from August 19-December 4, 2026 with the potential for renewal. This position entails teaching Applied Music Trombone Instruction to 2-20 students, 1-10 classroom hours per week, contingent upon course enrollments, in MUSC 1050 or 2050 (individualized weekly instruction, for students ranging in experience from beginner to advanced). Adjunct Instructors are responsible for course planning and instruction. In addition, adjunct faculty are responsible for student evaluation, and timely and accurate submission of required paperwork related to instruction.
