The Opportunity: Unity Environmental University is hiring adjunct faculty to support Entrepreneurship courses within Career Edge's Applied Bachelor of Science programs. These programs prepare working adults to launch ventures, lead innovation efforts, and apply entrepreneurial thinking to sustainability challenges. Courses Needing Adjunct Faculty ENTR 2010 - Entrepreneurial Thinking & Opportunity Recognition Explores entrepreneurial mindset, opportunity identification, problem-solution fit, innovation frameworks, and responsible business design. Students apply entrepreneurial tools to real sustainability-related problems and practice early-stage venture ideation.

Requirements

  • Have experience in entrepreneurship, venture creation, innovation management, or applied business development.
  • Can guide adult learners in identifying opportunities, evaluating ideas, and thinking innovatively.
  • Are comfortable mentoring early-stage concept development and applied project work.
  • Are comfortable using AI-supported learning tools, including formative feedback systems and rubric-based evaluation.
  • Value sustainability, ethics, and socially responsible enterprise.
  • Master's in Entrepreneurship, Business, Management, Innovation, or related field; OR substantial professional experience founding/running ventures.
  • Teaching, coaching, or mentoring experience preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with design thinking, lean startup, or venture incubation.
  • Familiarity with sustainability-focused business design or impact entrepreneurship.
