The adjunct dance professor teaches undergraduate courses in dance technique, choreography, and/or dance theory, fostering technical growth, artistic expression, and critical thinking in a diverse student population. Responsibilities include developing and delivering engaging curriculum, assessing student performance, and the ability to work within the Canvas platform. The position requires an MA or MFA degree with professional experience in dance, a commitment to inclusive pedagogy, and the ability to contribute to a collaborative, creative academic environment. Course Descriptions: DAN-110 Jazz Dance - Beginning jazz dance with exploration of disco jazz, classic jazz, and character jazz dance.
