Adjunct supervisors are essential to providing a quality academic experience for Indiana Wesleyan University students. Adjunct supervisors will employ a range of onsite observation and mentoring strategies designed to foster the development of teacher candidates in practicum and/or student teaching. Applicants must have appropriate academic or professional experience within the given academic discipline, demonstrate a passion for teaching and learning, and be able to integrate their Christian faith into the mentoring role. This role requires consistent weekday availability between 8:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., as observations and feedback must occur during regular school hours. The position follows the academic calendar, with hours determined by the number of candidates assigned each semester and the school year schedule. Work is part-time, semester-to-semester, with limited or no responsibilities during school breaks or summer unless otherwise assigned.
