Adjunct Faculty, Art at French
About The Position
The New England College's Institute of Art and Design offers a variety of part-time adjunct instructor opportunities at Art at French. We seek individuals who can understand and contribute to the College's and Art at French's mission and vision. Assignments include seated or on-line courses in a discipline of expertise. We are seeking individuals who have developed skills or technical experience in a range of disciplines that include painting, drawing, photography, printmaking and digital fine arts. As we ramp up our programming capacity, we are looking for instructors to teach youth in our Saturday Morning Art Program, and adults in our ongoing community education art classes, workshops and community programming. We are particularly interested in art instructors who have a passion for supporting art learning and exploration.
Requirements
- Experience in education, art instruction, arts administration, or related fields.
- Experience as a visual artist and/or art instructor
- Strong communication and leadership skill
- A proven ability to work independently as well as in a team
Responsibilities
- Provide students with appropriate learning materials and expertise in assigned subject(s).
- Ability to work flexibly and collaboratively with the others
- Evaluate students' performance and provide effective feedback to guide student learning and success.
- Responsible for contributing to and maintaining an inclusive and collaborative environment.
