DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES : Under the general supervision of the Division Dean, provide instruction in accordance with course descriptions, outlines, class schedules, and Governing Board policies; evaluate progress of students concerning educational matters, develop and assess student learning outcomes, and perform other instructional duties as assigned. Required Qualifications EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS : The successful candidate, by the final filing date, must possess the minimum qualifications for instructors in Business as governed by the California Community Colleges Chancellor’s Office: (All degrees and units used to satisfy minimum qualifications must be from accredited institutions.) Office Technologies: Secretarial skills, office systems, word processing, computer applications, and automated office training Any Degree and Professional Experience Foreign Transcripts: If you possess foreign transcripts, please note that they must undergo a U.S. evaluation and translation. Contact the Office of People & Culture (HR) through their website to access a list of agencies that provide services for evaluating and translating foreign transcripts. This step is crucial to ensure that your educational background is accurately assessed and understood in the context of U.S. educational standards and requirements. Equivalency Requirement: All applicants are required to meet the minimum qualifications specified by the Yuba Community College District ( YCCD ) by the application filing date. Alternatively, applicants must have obtained an equivalency determination from the District before the publication of the Recruitment Announcement. This ensures that candidates either meet the standard qualifications or have received official recognition of their equivalent qualifications.
