We are seeking an Addiction Recovery Specialist at Pendleton Juvenile Correctional Facility in Pendleton, Indiana. The Addiction Recovery Specialist provides supportive substance abuse treatment and rehabilitation services to patients within a correctional facility, through outpatient treatment, addiction recovery education, and group counseling.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in a human services or related field preferred
Must have Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor I or II (CADAC I or CADAC II) certification or higher (LAC, LAC-A, LSW) or be actively working toward attaining a CADAC I or CADAC II within two (2) years of hire
May substitute higher education for experience but must hold a four-year college degree and possess a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC)
Must show/obtain current Purified Protein Derivative (PPD) documentation for tuberculosis screening
Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
Ability to pass and maintain a security background clearance
