Position Summary The Activities Specialist design and lead programs that engage residents physically, mentally, and socially. If you love making people smile, this is the role for you!

Requirements

Experience in recreation, activities, or therapeutic programming preferred
Creative, energetic, and compassionate personality
Ability to motivate and engage older adults in fun and meaningful activities
Bachelor’s degree in Therapeutic Recreation, or related field.
CTRS or equivalent preferred; position specific certification required

Responsibilities

Plan, organize, and lead engaging group and individual activities (games, arts & crafts, fitness, music, outings, etc.)
Encourage resident participation and adapt programs to meet diverse needs
Build warm, positive relationships with residents and families
Collaborate with the Life Enrichment team to enhance resident wellness
