About The Position
The Activities Specialist administers selected aspects of personal care to residents of the Transitional Care Skilled Nursing unit under the supervision of the Nurse Manager. Under the direction of an Occupational Therapist and Nursing Manager the Activities Specialist accomplishes planned resident care activities and assigned tasks associated with the skilled nursing unit.
Requirements
- High School Diploma
- 1-2 years of previous job- related experience
- Experience in acute care/outpatient hospital setting with increased responsibilities and performance
Nice To Haves
- Associate degree preferred
