We’re seeking an enthusiastic, organized, and people-oriented Activities Manager to lead and enhance our guest experience through engaging programs and events. Requirements

  • Basic computer proficiency, including the ability to use email and the internet
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time
  • Highly motivated team player with strong initiative and desire for achievement
  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles
  • Ability to delegate responsibilities
  • Readily available and approachable for all guests while providing excellent guest service
  • 6 month customer service experience is preferred
  • Valid Driver's License is preferred
  • The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee daily and special activities for guests of all ages
  • Supervise, train, and motivate activities staff
  • Ensure weekly activity schedules are followed and that programs run smoothly
  • Upload and post weekly schedules to our websites and social media, ensuring that everything matches the activities planner.
  • Maintain a fun, safe, and inclusive environment at all times
  • Operate a cash register by receiving, counting, and managing cash transactions
  • Manage supplies, equipment, and activity spaces
  • Oversee the appearance of the Arcade, Bowling Alley, and Recreation Center, both indoors and outdoors, by completing daily cleaning tasks.
  • Keep track of inventory and craft supplies to make sure things are fully stocked at all times
  • Communicate with guests to promote activities and gather feedback
  • Perform as a Jellystone Park mascot by engaging in playful interactions while maintaining the character's personality and creating a memorable experience for guests of all ages
