Activities Assistant (Full-Time)
About The Position
Richboro Rehab and Nursing Center is a 82 bed Long Term Care facility nestled on a quiet suburban street in the heart of Richboro, Bucks County. Our dynamic staff provide high quality care to our Residents all while bringing a smile to their faces every day. Teamwork is a huge part of why we are able to provide such quality care and keep our Residents so happy. We are looking for a new dynamic team member to join us as an Activities Assistant. The primary focus of your job will be to help keep our Residents entertained, engaged and happy. Responsibilities
- Assist in planning, developing, organizing, im plementing, and evaluating the r ecreation programs of this Facility.
- Observe resident attendance, mood, behavior, and degree of involvement so that Facility a ctivities and resident progress are evaluated, by noting, reporting, and charting resident behavior.
- Participate in community planning related to the interests of the Facility and the services and needs of the resident and family.
- Coordinate activities with other departments , as necessary.
- Ensure that all charted recreation progress notes are informative and descriptive of the services provided and indicate the resident's response to the service.
- Arrange transportation for field trips when necessary.
